A place where education and the environment connect __Design & Build

The three new buildings for Basisschool De Wijze Boom and Atheneum Tectura Groenkouter are part of a new green school campus that blends seamlessly into the beautiful Rozebroekenpark in Sint-Amandsberg. The main buildings, one for the secondary school and one for the primary school, have a stepped design. This helps to reduce the visual impact of the buildings and also creates outdoor learning spaces on each floor. 

Outdoor stairs connect these spaces and provide a pleasant way to move between floors. The central pavilion is a hub for both the school and the community. It has a large multi-purpose room that can be used by students and local residents after school hours.
