Are you passionate about architecture and ready to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic studio?
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic Project Leader to join our team.

Who is Oskar?

Oskar is an architecture firm with a dual focus:

  • Education projects, where we design new learning environments that prepare children for the skills of the 21st century.

  • Work.life projects, where we develop contemporary living and working concepts: affordable and child-friendly housing, lifelong living solutions, and smart adaptive reuse as a sustainable way of managing space.

We are located on the outskirts of Brussels, easily accessible by bike, public transport, or car. Our projects can be found throughout Belgium.

At Oskar, people always come first – both in our designs and within our team. We work in a flat studio structure with short communication lines and strong collaboration. You will have the freedom to put your own stamp on projects, while never standing alone. We believe in a healthy work-life balance, an inspiring workplace, and the joy of working together. From breakfast sessions and Oskar cafés to our annual city trip – at Oskar, work goes hand in hand with a strong team spirit.

Who are you?

We are looking for an architect or architectural engineer who enjoys taking the lead while also having the freedom to shape their own approach. Someone who gains energy from coordinating and connecting people, and who thrives in a team where everyone supports each other:

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering.

  • You have at least 5 years of experience in the architecture / construction sector.

  • You have strong communication skills.

  • You have experience managing and coordinating project teams.

  • Knowledge of ArchiCAD is a strong asset. If you don’t have it yet or your skills need refreshing, we provide a basic training at the start.

What does Oskar offer?

At Oskar, working is not only about creating great projects, but also about how you create them together. We provide an environment where you feel supported, where you can grow, and where collaboration matters. No heavy hierarchy, but a supportive structure and an open atmosphere. With us, you get the opportunity to build something meaningful – and be proud of it.

  • A role as Project Leader in a firm that combines innovative design with a people-centered approach.

  • Responsibility for multiple projects, ensuring smooth delivery from concept to completion.

  • Acting as the main contact point for all stakeholders throughout the project process.

  • Coordinating and leading the project teams involved in your projects.

  • Fair compensation, with the possibility of being employed under an employee contract.

  • Regular meetings and project reviews.

  • A personal growth path tailored to your interests and strengths.

  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of hybrid working – we value a healthy work-life balance.

  • A spacious and pleasant office in a repurposed industrial building on the edge of Brussels, with plenty of daylight and outdoor work and lunch areas.

  • A sustainable work environment, with attention to ecology and a healthy shared daily lunch.

  • A close-knit, young team with plenty of informal moments together: shared breakfasts, after-work drinks, and team outings.
