Eylenbosch
Repurposing an iconic brewery
The old Eylenbosch brewery in Schepdael-Dilbeek, situated along the Ninoofsesteenweg between Ninove and Brussels, is a significant landmark with both heritage value and cultural importance for local residents. This redevelopment project aims to preserve the brewery's character while addressing current spatial housing challenges, creating added value for the community without impacting the environment.
Working closely with heritage authorities, we carefully assessed the site’s potential, leading to a mixed-use plan that incorporates housing, services, and commercial functions. Emphasis was placed on enhancing spatial quality and amenity for all users and visitors. This new interpretation of the existing structure aims to revitalize the area and foster community engagement while honoring its historical significance.
