Denderdal
A vibrant hub along the Dender
OYO and Oskar have developed an innovative masterplan and new building project for Denderdal. The design creates a strong connection with the Dender River, the surrounding green landscape, and nearby sports facilities, breathing new life into the riverfront.
To make optimal use of the site, a compact new building accommodates a sports hall, kindergarten, academy, library, and multipurpose hall—with a strong emphasis on shared use. In addition, the existing sports hall will be carefully deconstructed and repurposed. This transformation establishes a central meeting point where athletes, students, and local residents come together, forming a vibrant and dynamic heart within the new Denderdal.
