The iconic Markthal site in Overijse undergoes a transformation and becomes a vibrant place where education, sports and culture come together. This ambitious project focuses on a strong interweaving of indoor and outdoor spaces, with the aim of creating an inspiring and dynamic environment for all generations.
The site will feature innovative learning landscapes and workshops for car mechanics and woodworking, taking hands-on education to a higher level. A large multi-purpose concert and events hall will also be created, suitable for a variety of activities such as performances, theatre shows and community events.
