Grote Kapel

The Grote Kapel social housing district in Alsemberg, bordered by Alsembergsesteenweg and Beukenbosstraat, features a tranquil living environment with a green buffer. It includes single-family homes and a few multi-family residences.

Oskar, appointed by Woonpunt Zennevallei, is renovating part of the neighborhood across three zones. In the northern section, two multi-family buildings will be replaced with three new three-story structures, providing 60 units, some of which are accessible. An extensive communal garden will enhance the area.

In the eastern section, nine new single-family homes will replace existing multi-family housing, each with a private garden and access to a shared garden. Several houses in the central area will also be renovated and extended. This initiative aims to diversify housing types, ensuring long-term sustainability for the community.
